5) Like in Shadow of Light (my LoZ fanfiction), Impa is Sheik's mother and Zelda is his cousin. I believe that in OoT, Zelda just disguised herself as Sheik to help Link. No, he's not male because I'm a yaoi fangirl, though I do have him in a yaoi pairing. But Vaati's close enough to a girl, so...yeah. Don't start an argument. Don't like or agree, don't comment. It's as simple as that.
